NHS Digital Signs Three-Year Cyber Security Partnership With IBM
NHS Digital (NHS) recently signed a three-year partnership with IBM to improve NHS’s cyber security services. In particular, NHS seeks to expand its Cyber Security Operations Centre (CSOC), to improve its vulnerability scanning and malware analysis, as well as better detect potential cyber threats to NHS.
The new security measurement steps follow a WannaCry cyber attack on NHS in May 2017, causing major disruption across NHS. With the IBM partnership, NHS will be able to obtain assistance on security issues from IBM’s professionals whenever needed.
