New Jersey Children’s Alliance Announces Two New Child Advocacy Center Facilities
New Jersey’s Gloucester and Camden counties each recently opened new Child Advocacy Center facilities, which offer victims of child abuse access to resources and support as communities respond to allegations of child abuse. The centers are promoted by the new Jersey Children’s Alliance, a non-profit organization that facilitates training, technical assistance, communications, mentoring, and advocacy of public policy surrounding child abuse.
CAC centers afford children the ability to tell their version of events to trained interviewers, who then relay that information to a multidisciplinary team that works to provide healing and justice for the victim. Resources and . . .
