New Interactive Map Highlights State-Specific Trends In Opioid-Related Hospitalizations
The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) has released a new interactive map that allows users to view state-specific information about opioid-related hospital stays. Included in the map is information on 44 states and the District of Columbia. The data for the map is pulled from Fast Stats, AHRQ's online tool that provides national and state-specific information on hospital stays and emergency department visits. Data can be organized and viewed by age, gender, community-level income, and urban versus rural residency.
