New Mount Sinai Medical-Legal Partnership Offers Legal Services To Mount Sinai Health System Consumers

Mount Sinai Health System has enhanced legal services already provided by lawyers from LegalHealth of New York Legal Assistance Group, Legal Aid, and Youth Represent to offer legal services to consumers who live well below the poverty line. The Mount Sinai Medical-Legal Partnership will work to resolve legal issues that are barriers to good health. These barriers exist in the form of social and environmental conditions that are rooted in legal issues, such as housing, education, personal safety, and access to health care.
