Mostashari’s Startup Creates Aledade ACO In Pennsylvania

Aledade, former Office of the National Coordinator chief and physician Farzad Mostashari’s startup, announced a new accountable care organization (ACO) called Aledade Pennsylvania ACO. The eponymous ACO comes on the heels of Aledade announcements that it helped build ACOs in West Virginia, Michigan, Missouri, Nevada, and Utah. Aledade said that in 2015 the ACOs it helped to build reduced hospital readmissions, experienced a 251 percent average practice increase in preventive care visits and a 175 percent spike in transitional care services, and saw a $51,000 average increase in revenue.
