Molina Healthcare of New Mexico’s Medicaid members now have access to a therapist because of a new partnership with Sunrise, Florida-based telehealth company, MDLive. The deal allows more than 220,000 members who have Centennial Medicaid coverage to connect with a behavioral health provider online from their phone, laptop, or tablet. The access is provided through MDLive subsidiary, Breakthrough. After creating an account at www.breakthrough.com/molinahealth, patients can see pictures of the available practitioners along with information about them, and they can schedule a session with one of the licensed therapists or psychiatrists and visit with them online at the appointed time. Molina currently has six practitioners for the program with a goal to recruit another 25. MDLive provides integrated virtual health services, including online therapy and psychiatry through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Breakthrough.
