Mental Health Startup Lantern Shuts Down Its Operations
Startup mental health provider organization Lantern officially shut down its commercial operations on August 1. Lantern developed web and mobile apps that provided consumers cognitive behavioral therapy, as well as allowed them to complete self-evaluation assessments and receive daily cognitive exercises.
Lantern’s program will still be available through the end of the year for those who paid for its subscription services, which cost about $50 per month. However, the coaching and behavioral clinical professional services that were previously available to subscribers will no longer be available going forward.
