Mental Health Crisis Center Set To Open In March In Hillsboro
A new urgent-care center, coming as soon as March, is intended to greatly expand mental health services in Washington County and fill in a piece that's been missing from puzzle of existing care options. County commissioners recently approved a 10-year lease for the facility – the first of its kind in the county -- at 5240 N.E. Elam Young Parkway in Hillsboro. The center is expected to help people in crisis who don't require intensive, hospital-based help for mental health or addiction.
