Jérôme Lejeune Foundation USA To Open Hospital For Down Syndrome Patients
The Jérôme Lejeune Foundation USA has announced a plan to open a hospital that will specialize in the care and treatment of both adults and children with Down syndrome. The organization hopes to have the hospital open by mid-2020.
While this will be the first such hospital in the U.S., the organization has already opened a similar facility in France.
