Public Behavioral Health Services Manager, Vaya Health, Awarded N.C. Emergency Solutions Grant
Vaya Health, which manages public behavioral health services in Western North Carolina was selected to manage a new Emergency Solutions Grant that aims to serve at least 100 households in Cherokee, Clay, Graham, Haywood, Jackson, Macon, Madison, and Swain counties through September 2022. Vaya Health is one of North Carolina's local management entity/managed care organizations that administer public behavioral health services for people with intellectual/developmental disability (I/DD), mental health, and addiction services.
The grant is funded through the federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act and distributed via the N.C. Department of Health . . .
