International Association For The Scientific Study Of Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities (IASSIDD) Elects New President
The International Association for the Scientific Study of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IASSIDD) has elected Philip W. Davidson, PH.D. their newest president. Dr. Davidson serves as Professor Emeritus of Pediatrics at the University of Rochester Medical Center, and was formerly chief of the Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics and Director of the Strong Center for Developmental Disabilities. During his three-year term as president, Dr. Davidson hopes to bring financial support to IASSIDD, develop scientists, expand special interest research groups, and improve organizational communication.
Dr. Davidson succeeds Professor Vianne Timmons who served as organizational president from 2012-2016 . . .
