Humana recently announced it is launching a new data analytics and digital health division, which will go by the name Humana Studio H. The new Boston-based division will develop data-driven products and services, and is expected to employ about 250 people over the next five years.
Leading the new division will be the former financial technology executive Heather Cox, who will work as Chief Digital Health and Analytics Officer. Bruce Broussard, Human’s CEO, cited Ms. Cox’s experience, vision, and drive for innovation as reasons for the company’s selection of her to lead the new division. Also included in the new digital health and analytics division will be a team that works on creating tools for use by seniors, which will be led by Humana’s current employer group segment president, Beth Bierbower.
