HopkinsPD Smartphone App Helps Doctors Track Severity Of Parkinson’s Disease Symptoms
Johns Hopkins University recently developed a new smartphone app that helps clinical professionals to track the severity of Parkinson’s disease symptoms. The app seeks to make Parkinson’s symptom tracking an easier task, as symptoms can shift significantly over short periods of time.
The new app—HopkinsPD—will use smartphone sensors to generate a score that reflects the severity of symptoms in people with Parkinson’s.
