HelpAround Raises $6 Million To Help Consumers Obtain Specialty Prescriptions
HelpAround, a Bethesda, Maryland-based startup, raised $6 million in funding to help consumers navigate the process of filling specialty prescriptions. According to Yishai Knobel, co-founder and chief executive officer of HelpAround, between the steps when a clinical professional writes a prescription for a specialty drug and a pharmacist fills it, consumers must navigate a number of obstacles including making several phone calls, filling out forms, and, often, taking a blood or drug test.
