Centerstone Wins Grant To Treat Illinois Residents With Gambling Disorder
Centerstone received a $119,517 grant from the Illinois Department of Human Services Substance Use Prevention and Recovery (SUPR) to provide treatment and intervention services for people with a gambling disorder in and around Franklin, Jackson, Johnson, Perry, Saline, Union, and Williamson counties. The services currently are available in Carbondale and Marion, Illinois.
Recently, Illinois passed legislation that allows for more gambling options in the state. As a result, Centerstone anticipates a greater need for gambling treatment services in the surrounding area.
