Denver, Colorado-based DispatchHealth (Dispatch) recently launched its “ER-at-home” model in three new markets. The expansion of its high-acuity home care service comes through the support of its health system partners in those three markets—Massachusetts, Texas, and Washington.
The ER-at-home model focuses specifically on providing in-home care to seniors living with high-acuity medical issues, affording them the ability to receive care from home rather than through expensive trips to emergency rooms and/or hospital stays. By using the app, seniors can contact Dispatch and have a team of clinical professionals—including a physician assistant (PA) or nurse practitioner—come directly to their homes to perform various medical services, such as lab studies and EKGs.
DispatchHealth (Dispatch) delivers mobile urgent care directly to health care consumers. Dispatch’s goal is to create an integrated, convenient, high touch care delivery solution that extends the capabilities of an individual’s care team and provides definitive, quality care in the home while decreasing costs.
