Compass Health Receives $21 Million In Funding For Affordable Housing Project

Northwest Washington-based Compass Health (Compass) recently received $21 million in funding to help finance its new affordable housing development project. The project will provide 82 affordable housing units, as well as redevelop existing facilities for treatment and support services for individuals with chronic mental and behavioral health issues.

$17 million in funding came from the Washington State Housing Finance Commission. Another $4 million was provided by the Washington State Department of Commerce, which recently provided $39 million grants to 18 different health care provider organizations. The grants specifically targeted facilities—such as Compass’s—that provide services to consumers . . .
