CMS Awards Nearly $20 Million To 11 Small Businesses For Quality Payment Program
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has awarded approximately $20 million to 11 organizations for training and education effort about the Quality Payment Program. This is the first of $100 million total to be awarded over a five-year period. Those groups who receive the funded training will be tasked to assist clinicians in individual or small-group practices (clinicians or less) located primarily in rural areas, health professional shortage areas, and medically underserved areas.
