Cleveland Clinic, 27 Other Hospitals, Join Apple’s Health Records Initiative
Cleveland Clinic and 27 other hospitals recently joined Apple’s Health Records beta program. With this move, Cleveland Clinic joins a growing list of health care institutions that support health records on the iPhone, enabling consumers to view important data such as immunizations, lab results, medications, and vitals directly in the Health app.
According to statements from Cleveland Clinic leadership, the medical center believes that allowing consumers access to their own medical records will further the digital transformation taking place in health care, as well as enhance the medical center’s relationship with those it serves.
