Cityblock, A Startup Of Google’s Parent Company, Spins Off An Innovative Startup Health Care Provider
Cityblock, a startup of Google’s parent company, Alphabet, is seeking to provide health care for lower income populations. The startup will take a team-based approach and utilize doctors, behavioral health coaches, and technological tools.
Currently, it is expected that the first clinic, named Neighborhood Health Hub, will open in New York City in 2018. It is anticipated that through Cityblock’s services, lower-income consumers will have access to high-value, readily available, personal health services. The company plans on achieving this through integrating primary care, behavioral health, and social services.
