Centerstone & Bloomington, Indiana Partner To Help Homeless
The city of Bloomington, Indiana and Centerstone have teamed up to offer employment opportunities to the homeless. The pilot program offers homeless residents a chance to work with the city's Parks Department. Centerstone will do the hiring, and the city will pay their hourly wage. Program participants will work in Seminary, People's, Building Trades, and Butler Parks. The program will employ three to five people for an average of 20 hours per week.
