Lifeworks Northwest (Lifeworks Northwest NW) recently announced a collaboration with The Sequioia Project’s Carequality—whose interoperability framework is powered by the Netsmart network—to improve data sharing across provider organization networks in order to improve health care outcomes.
Thanks to the partnership, consumers using LifeWorks NW’s services will have all of their clinical data readily available so that the next steps in their care can be immediately set into motion. Oregon—the site of the partnership—is one of eight states currently participating in the federal government’s Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic project, a two-year initiative to expand the country’s access to mental health and addiction disorder care in community-based settings.
The Sequoia Project brings together diverse participants to create practical solutions to health data exchange challenges. Founded in 1961, and based in Portland, Oregon, LifeWorks NW serves more than 21,000 consumers annually, offering integrated mental health, addiction and prevention services across the lifespan. Netsmart innovates electronic health records (EHRs), solutions, and services that are powerful, intuitive, and easy-to-use.
