The Idaho Hospital Association (IHA) and Caravan Health (Caravan) recently announced they are partnering to launch a statewide collaborative accountable care organization (ACO) to strengthen health care. Under the new model, Idaho hospitals will be able to collaborate as part of a Medicare ACO to provide coordinated, high quality care that is more cost efficient.
IHA is also the parent organization to its subsidiary, Healthcare Business Ventures, which supports hospitals and health care leaders throughout the state of Idaho. These efforts in Idaho are a continuation of Caravan’s mission to help health systems succeed at implementing value-based care, having launched the first ever statewide collaborative ACO in Mississippi earlier this year.
The Idaho Hospital Association provides voice, value, and visibility to its member hospitals, strengthening their viability and capacity to serve their communities. Caravan Health is the national leader of successful accountable care and population health programs for community health systems.
