Capital BlueCross & WellSpan Health Will Collaborate To Drive Better Health & Lower Costs

Capital BlueCross and WellSpan Health plan have announced they will collaborate on improving health and lowering costs for Central Pennsylvania employers and health care consumers. The two partners have agreed to enter into a long-term agreement that would coordinate the financing and delivery of health care to improve the quality, efficiency, and overall experience for WellSpan Health patients who are Capital BlueCross members.
The partnership will explore ways to improve the patient experience and outcomes through the entities’ strategies around navigation tools, payment arrangements, digital health, and navigation tools for medical care and pharmacy needs.
