BrainWaveBank Raises £1 Million For Brain Health Tracking Technology
BrainWaveBank, an Ireland-based health technology startup company, has raised £1 million to further research and development, as well as, the affordability of its proprietary wearable/app tools that monitor brain health. The wearable device uses electroencephalography in the form of 16 dry electrode sensors mounted on a rigid, wearable headpiece. The device records electrical activity in the brain while the user plays games on the corresponding app for a short time each day. According to BrainWaveBank, their learning algorithms can understand a consumer's cognitive health and whether they are developing neurodegenerative diseases.
