Banyan Treatment Centers Opens Facility In Delaware
Banyan Treatment Centers opened an addiction treatment facility in Milford, Delaware, about 70 miles south of Wilmington. Banyan Delaware will serve Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Baltimore, Maryland; and Washington, D.C. The facility will provide detoxification and residential addiction and mental health services. The facility opens with 32 beds. When construction is completed at the end of 2020, the 34,000 square foot facility will have 60 beds.
Delaware is second in the nation to West Virginia for having the worst overdose deaths rates per 100,000. In 2018, Delaware had 401 overdose deaths. That figure rose again in 2019 by 8 . . .
