Apple Debuts Medical Records On iPhone
Apple recently debuted the latest version of its Health Records iPhone app. The app collects various medical data—such as allergies, immunizations, and lab results— and updates consumers whenever their data has been successfully updated.
While the latest version of the app is still just a test version, some hospitals have already begun to contribute medical records to it, including Johns Hopkins Medicine and Dignity Health. Thus far, Apple has announced 12 health organizations that will be connecting to its app, however, more organizations are anticipated to join over time.
