Amazon Sponsors Five New Seattle FareStart Eateries
Amazon is donating equipment and 25,000 square feet space in its South Lake Union campus to FareStart for five new eateries and an apprenticeship program: one full-service restaurant, three fast-casual eateries, and one coffee shop. There will also be a catering space and training classrooms The eateries, expected to open by the end of summer 2017, will provide job training for low-paid workers to improve their skills in preparation for seeking better jobs.
