Trump Administration Appoints Acting Director Of National Drug Control Policy
The Trump Administration appointed Richard Baum to serve as Acting Director of National Drug Control Policy on March 29, 2017, until a permanent director is nominated and confirmed by the Senate. Acting Director Baum replaces former Acting Director Kemp Chester, who was temporarily appointed on Inauguration Day.
Acting Director Buam brings with him more than twenty years of experience at the Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP), and a broad range of experience on domestic and international drug control policy issues.
