Acadia Healthcare Acquires Quality Addiction Management

Acadia Healthcare acquired Quality Addiction Management (QAM), a Milwaukee-based operator of seven addiction treatment centers in Wisconsin, for $53 million. QAM has locations in Waukesha, Racine, Green Bay, Sheboygan, Beloit, Madison, and West Milwaukee. QAM, which has been providing behavioral and addiction treatment services since 1997, serves approximately 2,600 patients per day. QAM’s CEO, Dr. Michael Goldstone, will become Acadia's chief medical officer for its comprehensive treatment centers.
