November 2, 2017 at 2:00 PM ET – Executive Web Briefing Sponsored By Genoa, A QoL Healthcare Company

Today, the most common payors for telepsychiatry services are state-run Medicaid programs. However, each state’s Medicaid programs are administered individually. Therefore, with 50 such programs in the U.S., understanding how Medicaid programs reimburse for telepsychiatry is a complicated matter. In addition to navigating different reimbursement rates set by each state, one has to also understand regulatory requirements around what types of care can be delivered, in what settings, by whom, and under what conditions. All of these factors can create a very intimidating landscape for a new entrant to telepsychiatry.

Genoa Telepsychiatry, part of Genoa, a QoL Healthcare Company, has combed through all 50 states’ reimbursement registers and regulations to compile a robust analysis of the favorability of the telepsychiatry market in each state. From analyzing various CPT codes to breaking out care requirements by location, service, provider, licensure, and more, Genoa will present to attendees a complete analysis of how the 50 states stack up to one another, ranking states by: gross reimbursement potential, flexibility in location of service delivered, unmet need for adults, unmet need for children, and restrictions on licensing.

With this analysis, individuals operating in a single state will understand the specifics of their state’s reimbursement opportunities, while individuals who are part of multi-state organizations will be able to develop a coherent roll-out strategy for telepsychiatry across multiple states based on the factors that are most important to them. Join Samir Malik, general manager of Genoa Telepsychiatry on November 2 at 2:00pm ET to learn about the current reimbursement environment for telepsychiatry and how to build a financially sustainable telepsychiatry model.

Over the course of this executive web briefing, attendees will:

  1. Make sense of the current reimbursement environment for telepsychiatry; and
