Family Caregiver Stress Associated With Inflammation & Immunity Problems
Family caregivers have more inflammation and lower immune system functioning than non-caregivers, however the overall effects of these symptoms are less severe than previously thought. Caregiver stress explains less than 1% of the variability in immune and inflammation biomarkers between family caregivers and non-caregivers.
