Amazon Now Accepting Health Savings Accounts For Medical Purchases
The online retailer Amazon has updated its payment policies and is now able to accept payment from consumer’s health savings accounts (HSAs) and flexible spending accounts (FSAs). Both HSAs and FSAs are health benefit accounts that allow a consumer to contribute a pre-tax portion of salary or wages to the account to cover out-of-pocket medical expenses, including expenses for over-the-counter health care products. Amazon’s new payment policies allow consumers to link their HSA or FSA debit cards as a payment option to their accounts to use to pay for eligible health care items . . .
