Lancaster, PA, September 24, 2004: - The American College of Addiction Treatment Administrators (ACATA) announced a new partnership with OPEN MINDS to expand the course offerings for ACATA certification. The ACATA certification program is designed to promote high standards of management practice and professional growth in addiction to treatment administration. With the new partnership, ACATA members can now apply the contact hours from OPEN MINDS education events toward their certification. And, ACATA has secured significant discounts to all OPEN MINDS training events for its members.

The expanded course offerings have been designed to provide a cross-functional approach to financial and strategic planning, leadership, marketing, and information technology systems. Upon successful completion of requirements, members will achieve certification as an Advanced Member. Those achieving Advanced Member certification can continue on and become certified as a Fellow.
