The executives of our organizations pay for services, manage services, and provide technical assistance and management consulting to organizations – bringing multiple perspectives to the curriculum and the discussion,” said Monica E. Oss, president of OPEN MINDS. “We’ve created a seminar series that provides new tools and models for creating and sustaining thriving health and human service organizations in the years ahead.”

“Staff development and training are keys to the success of health and human service organizations,” said Erv Brinker, Board Chair of FOCUS. “The health and human service workforce – from front-line staff to the executive office – is in a state of transition. And, developing the skills of team members is both a necessary investment and a smart one for building the organization of the future. To help organizations in our field meet these staff development needs, we’ve created a great, low-cost organizational subscription program that allows multiple members of management teams to attend a number of seminars at affordable rates.” More information about the organizational subscription rates can be found at www.focustraining.org or by calling (866) 412-8767.

The seminar series is approved for graduate/undergraduate level course credit through Western Michigan University (more information on course credits available by calling (866) 412-8767).
