On September 14th, keynoters, William E. Rosenbach, Ph.D., and Lawrence P.
Taylor will move the event from the classroom to the Gettysburg National
Military Park. Attendees will learn about leadership from the lessons
learned during the Civil War.

Dr. Rosenbach is Evans Professor of Eisenhower Leadership Studies and
Professor of Management, Emeritus at Gettysburg College. He served as the
founding Chairperson of the Department of Management, Gettysburg College
from 1984-1991 and 2000-2001. Dr. Rosenbach's research focuses on leader
and follower behavior and development; effectiveness of leadership
development programs; and the relationship of transformational leadership
to organizational culture and change. Dr. Rosenbach serves as a consultant
to business, government, and not-for-profit organizations in Australia,
Europe, New Zealand and North America on a variety of leadership
development issues. He has authored numerous publications and articles and
has been quoted in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The
Washington Post, USA Today, The Christian Science Monitor and numerous
radio and television stations.

Ambassador Taylor is Senior Advisor to the President of Gettysburg
College, a member of the Board of Directors of the Eisenhower Institute, a
member of the Board of Directors of the Lincoln Fellowship of
Pennsylvania, and a member of the Pennsylvania Abraham Lincoln
Bicentennial Commission. Mr. Taylor is a retired American diplomat who
spent thirty years in the U.S. foreign service. He was the United States
Ambassador to Estonia from 1995 to 1997 and the Director of the Foreign
Service Institute and National Foreign Affairs Training Center from 1992
to 1995. He has extensive experience in foreign affairs leadership,
training, management, and policy development as a career diplomat with the
U.S. Department of State, both overseas and in the United States.
