Learn "Leadership Under Fire" at 2006 OPEN MINDS Leadership
Institute: Gettysburg, Pennsylvania – Seventy intrepid executives will learn the lessons of "Leadership Under Fire" during the 2006 OPEN MINDS Executive Leadership Institute, July 25-26, 2006. Using the Battle of Gettysburg as a backdrop, executives will roam the battlefield to retrace the famous footsteps and relive the strategic decisions of General Robert E. Lee and Colonel Joshua Chamberlain that altered the course of the Civil War.
Incorporating a unique approach, this two-day institute will combine
classroom discussions of current leadership trends with a view of historic
leadership lessons straight from the Civil War's most famous battle. Walk
the Gettysburg Battlefield from Little Round Top to Cemetery Ridge with
guest speakers, Ambassador Lawrence Taylor and William Rosenbach, Ph.D.,
as historical leadership strategies, including Pickett's Charge, come to
life and fuse with executive leadership challenges faced today.
Attendees can earn up to 12.5 continuing education hours for their attendance to this event.
