Spending on Children’s Mental Health Disorders Grew By 37% Over 3-Year Period

In 2008, expenditures for mental health disorders for children totaled $12.2 billion and amounted to 10.6% of total spending ($114.5 billion) on treatment for children for all conditions in that year.
