Biography:

Sally Johnston, Advisory Board Member and Consultant, has extensive health and wellness, employee assistance, managed behavioral health and specialty condition and disease management program experience. Ms. Johnston has focused on specialty pharmaceutical consulting while a member of the OPEN MINDS team, and has participated in projects on public sector Medicaid formulary decision-making relative to psychopharmacology and the chronically mentally ill, strategic planning, market research, EAP marketing, Community Mental Health Center quality management, and information systems and financial analysis for case rated and capitated services in the public and private sector

Ms. Johnston was formerly a Senior Account Executive at Magellan Health Services, where she had a primary role of client management, retention, and growth of core EAP and managed behavioral health services. She provided strategic consultation and planning, program enhancements and innovations, account services, new product sales, and implementation oversight.

Ms. Johnston is a graduate of West Virginia University, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Musical Arts and a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the District of Columbia, a Certified Employee Assistance Professional, and a Certified Cognitive Behavioral Therapist and Certified Addictions Specialist.
