Health Information Community Successor
Between April and June of 2007, the U.S. Department of Health and Human
Services, Office of the National Coordinator (ONC) for health information
technology requested information about potential business models for the
American Health Information Community (AHIC) successor organization. ONC
consolidated the recommendations, which are intended to help the AHIC successor entity set priorities and identify
strategies to accomplish the objectives.
