ShareNebraska Request for Information RFI-PACE2009

In 2009 the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) started developing a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) for adults over the age of 55. As a first official step, on December 23, 2009, DHHS released a request for information (RFI-PACE2009) to gather information and identify interested organizations qualified to serve one or more target areas in Omaha or Lincoln. PACE provider organizations deliver all needed medical and supportive services across a continuum of care for older adults needing nursing home-level care. Responses were opened February 2, 2010. Only one organization, Immanuel Health Systems, responded. DHHS did not say when a request for proposals would be released.
