Testimony on the Auditor General's Reviews of Department of Public Welfare Programs

On December 16, 2009, former Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare (DPW) Secretary Estelle Richman discussed the proposed change to the Special Allowances for Supportive Services Requirement. Her statements were given in testimony about the Auditor General's reviews of DPW programs to the Pennsylvania Senate Public Health and Welfare and Republican Policy Committees. The Auditor General's reports were released in August 2009. The DPW operations memos affected areas related to cash assistance.
