 LME Utilization Management Requirements & Procedures
The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services describes requirements and procedures for Local Managing Entities (LMEs) in the state that seek to provide utilization management services. By July 2009, DHHS expects that LMEs will provide the utilization management services for 30% of the state population.
