The State of Mississippi sought proposals for a web-based electronic health record and health information exchange to offer physicians in the state at no charge.
Proposals were due by March 12, 2009. The goal is to better serve the state's 600,000 Medicaid beneficiaries. The EHR system is expected to start operation by
the end of 2009.
