 Medicaid Program; Elimination of Reimbursement Under Medicaid for
School Administration Expenditures & Costs Related to Transportation
of School-Age Children Between Home & School
This proposed rule would eliminate reimbursement under Medicaid for the costs of administrative activities performed by school employees or contractors for transportation from home to school and back for school-aged children with an Individualized Education Program. This new rule is the result of state plan designed that have been found to be inappropriately shifting costs of state Medicaid services to the federal government.
