 Kansas Child Protective Services Task Force Report
This report outlined several recommendations to the Kansas Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services including:

Increased Child Protective Services staff training

Improvements in investigative and interview skills

Enhancements to accredited Children's Advocacy Centers and Multidisciplinary Teams

Establishment of a central toll-free number for reporting child abuse
The Task Force submitted these recommendations to Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius. It was appointed in 2006 to review the state's laws, policies, and practices used to protect the state's children from abuse and neglect.
