RFP No. 2006-0002 The Department of Family and Protective Services' (DFPS) mission in this procurement is to improve Child Protective Service's (CPS) ability to protect the children of Texas through increased investigative measures and improved supervision and accountability. The objective of this initiative is to transform the CPS system in Texas so that it functions effectively and efficiently to ensure the safety, permanency and well being of the children it serves. Additionally, the objective of this procurement is to develop technical solutions that support the DFPS' renewal initiatives.
