ShareAlbert B. et al., v. Bremerton School District, et al.

Disability Rights Washington filed a lawsuit and for a preliminary injunction to prevent the Bremerton School District and the Washington Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) from removing children with developmental disabilities from the school district. The district says that it has no room to offer the students on-site classrooms and recently reached an agreement with DSHS to open a classroom at the state-run Frances Haddon Morgan Center in Bremerton for the students who live at the center. The district plans to close the building currently used by the state Division of Developmental Disabilities.
