 Memo to South Carolina Mental Retardation/Related Disabilities Waiver Participants & Family Members About Waiver Changes
The South Carolina Department of Disabilities and Special Needs alerted waiver participants that the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services
approved a waiver change request that went into effect on January 1, 2010. The changes include hourly caps on some services and elimination of services
covered by regular Medicaid. The changes went into effect on January 1, 2010.
