 Appendix to Measuring Regional Variation in Service Use
The Medicare Payment Advisory Commission released the appendix to support its report on regional variation in Medicare service use between 2004 and 2006. It
includes tables of service use per Medicare beneficiary by region relative to the national average. The tables list each metropolitan statistical area and each
non-metropolitan area.
